Sofia Curci, known artistically as 2ofi art, captures the strength and complexity of emotions through portraits of female faces and bodies, sharing her own inner experiences with powerful intensity. Her artistic approach is characterized by a vibrant and generous use of color, which becomes central in shaping forms, expressions, and moods. For Sofi a, color is not just a medium, but an expressive resource that defines the contours of her subjects, highlighting their expressions and bringing them to life on the canvas, allowing them to convey the emotions and experiences the artist herself has lived.

The fluid, free-flowing gestures of her brushstrokes evoke a sense of dance, a reflection of Sofi a’s past as a skater, an experience that has profoundly influenced and integrated body expressiveness into her art. Through a blend of techniques, including acrylics, spray paints, plaster, and solvents, Sofi a creates intense chromatic contrasts, enhancing the visual language of her work.

The faces in 2ofi art’s pieces, exhibited at Palazzo Ruzzini, are expressive and bold, conveying emotions with a clarity that leaves no room for misinterpretation.
